Support Groups
We recommend that every family sign up for one of the
many e-mail support groups that are available for almost every country.

Also, in almost every larger city across the country
is a FRUA organization. Families for Russian
and Ukrainian Adoptions. Find out if your town has one of
these groups, and go to one of their meetings.
Guatemala:
Although the focus of the group
is Guatemala, discussion of adoption and culture of other countries in
Latin America is certainly welcome. To subscribe, send an email message
to: listserv@sjuvm.stjohns.edu
leaving the subject line blank. This should be a one-line message with
no signature, and should read as follows:

The purpose of single-aparent is
to provide a forum for the discussion of issues specific to the parenting
of adopted children as a single person. The list is intended be a supportive
network of single parents dealing with similar situations, sharing experiences
and the common goal of
